With a strong work ethic and great attention to detail, Kara brings a valuable combination of communication and PR strategy to her clients at RH Strategic. As an Account Executive, Kara handles media relations in support of the communications strategy for clients Talyst, Onvia and Apollo Video Technology.
Prior to RH Strategic, Kara worked for Weber Shandwick Worldwide where she serviced a variety of large and small Seattle-based technology clients in the mobile and wireless industry, helping to develop and execute integrated PR campaigns, external communications and special events.
She has pitched and generated placements in some of the nation’s top publications and trade outlets resulting in positive coverage highlighting executive level thought-leadership and new product launches. As a solid writer, Kara has produced award-winning deliverables, bylined articles for top Microsoft executives, and created strategy and messaging material for announcements and events.
Kara graduated from Western Washington University in Bellingham, Wash. with a B.A. in Journalism.
